I teach Excel the same way I taught math.
Hi, I’m Steve McCullough. I started teaching Algebra and Geometry in public schools in 1983 and began training people in Excel in 1995. I retired from the classroom in 2014, but I never really stopped teaching.
My BS and MS in Math Education from the University of Tennessee shaped how I teach. I slow down when something is unfamiliar, make room for questions, and help people understand what they are doing rather than racing through features. That same approach carries into onsite Excel training, where we can work with the spreadsheets and tasks your team already uses every day.

Why I still do this
Teaching is still the part I enjoy most.
Excellent Onsite Computer Training is a one-man operation. It is just me, so when you hire the business, I am the instructor in the room.
I still do this because I love teaching. The best part is seeing the excitement when a student learns to do something efficiently after struggling with it, sometimes for years.
I try to make Excel easy to understand and help people become more capable and efficient. Every class is a chance to answer real questions, build confidence, and leave someone with a better way to do the work.

More than anything else, I am thankful to be a Christian.
I am a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. My faith is not a small part of my biography. It is central to who I am.
My faith shapes the patience, honesty, service, and respect I try to bring to teaching and to the way I treat people. My family is deeply important to me as well. My work, my faith, and my family are all genuine parts of the same person.
People from every background are welcome in my classes. You do not need to share my faith to be treated with care, respect, and patience.

I was born and raised in Blount County, Tennessee, graduated from Heritage High School, and earned my BS and MS in Math Education from the University of Tennessee. The business is based near Knoxville and serves East Tennessee and beyond.
